The Chalhoub Group is looking to secure an exceptional and seasoned Change Director, with the credibility and gravitas to lead change on the ERP Transformation Programme. The Change Director is also expected over time, to develop a high performing change capability within the Group. This individual should be able to demonstrate having performed a similar role, across multiple retail transformation programs, with Tier 1 vendors and working with leading systems integrators.

What you'll be doing

- Responsible for shaping and defining the overall change management strategy, and vision for the ERP Transformation Program, in alignment with the Group and ERP strategies, taking into consideration the key business drivers and priorities.
- Lead ERP-related organizational change initiatives across Chalhoub Group
- Develop a key stakeholder strategy and plan to support the engagement and alignment of all executives, ensuring the role as key sponsors is clearly understood, providing guidance and education as appropriate.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and change management leads across the business, to ensure smooth and effective change execution and engagement throughout, coaching stakeholders as needed and that change sponsorship is in place across all levels of management, not just the executive.
- Establish and grow an ERP change team within Chalhoub, to initially work alongside and support the system integrator change team.
- Work with Group Communications to develop the ERP Transformation Communication Strategy and Plan to enable promotion of the ERP Transformation and individual programs, as well as communicating key information across the organisation.
- Accountable for ensuring that the SI is promoting best practice across all pillars of change including Communication, People, Organisation, Process, Adoption and Value Realisation.
- Work with the SI to oversee the development of the ERP Transformation Change Plan, KPIs and metrics, aligning to the overall implementation roadmap, ensuring that key milestones and dependencies are clearly understood and articulated.
- Key components of the change plan such as Visioning, Stakeholder Analysis, Communication plan, Change Impact Assessment, As-Is and To-Be process workshops, Gap Analysis, Training, Organistional TOM Design, Adoption Strategy, Value Realisation Plan, and risks are clearly identified.
- Continuously assess impact and adjust (when needed) change initiatives and projects to ensure they respond to relevant changes in Group strategy and related ERP transformations.
- Provide a central view on the progress of Group wide organisational change activities, coordinating input from change management leads and the SI, via regular centralised reporting mechanisms, capturing decisions, issues, and risk, escalating where appropriate.
- Provide guidance and work with the SI, to conduct workshops with Business Process Owners and Business SME's, identified from within the business, to define L1 to L4 processes, as well as supporting policies and procedures, adopting best practice and ways of working.
- Work with the SI to establish the ERP Transformation Training Strategy and Plan, including the Training Needs Analysis (TNA), development of training materials, delivery of both functional system and business process-based training to agreed strategies, such as Train the Trainer and supporting CBT's.
- Focus on the people side of change, collaborating with Organizational Design, to understand the existing Business Operating Model (BOM) and design of the Target Operating Model (TOM) including changes to organisation structures and associated job roles, to support new business processes, policies, and procedures. This would include working with existing and establishing new centres of excellence, such as a shared service centre model.
- Working with and guiding the SI, to develop adoption strategies and the adoption plan, including measurement points and relevant metrics to regularly measure the success of adoption and ensure pre-define strategies are in place, ready to address any issues with adoption.
- Working alongside People Experience, conduct studies and analyses to assess the impact of changes on employees against defined metrics, to ensure continuous improvement.
- Accountable for and working with the PMO Financial control, to monitor and track the change budget, ensuring that the change program remains within and delivers to the overall agreed change budget.

What you'll need to succeed:

- Preferrable experience leading a change program across the MENA regiong, and ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the challenges of cultural change within a Middle East retail organisation.
- Previous experience in a similar role, across multiple retail transformation programs, with Tier 1 vendors and working with leading systems integrators.
- Strong experience in maximising the adoption and usage of new ERP Transformation systems and processes is a must.
- Strong experience and knowledge of change methodologies \ models, such as ACMP (CCMP Certification), Prosci, PCT \ AKDAR, APMG, Six Sigma etc., and demonstrate leading their application within a retail ERP Transformation environment, promoting latest best practice and ways of working to achieve desired business outcomes
- Arabic speaking would be preferred but is not essential
