About the Role

As our International Markets Manager, you will support the execution of the international markets & partnerships strategy. You will be involved in a wide range of activities, including but are not limited to seasonal promotions on B2B channels, organisation of familiarization trips and event and reporting. This position reports to the Director of International Partnerships and Marketing.

Key responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all the following.
  • Support the execution of the international markets and partnerships strategy to attract domestic and international tourists
  • Communicate seasonal promotions in local and international B2B tourism channels to target domestic and international tourists
  • Assist in the follow-up of sales mission appointments and tracking business opportunities with travel industry partners in local and source markets
  • Support the project-related logistics and administrative tasks, including PowerPoint presentations, Salesforce/CRM, campaign tracking, and reporting
  • Work closely with Retail, Marketing, PR and Digital Teams within the Village
  • Prepare briefings for these teams and ensure that the design and production of the materials for the travel industry is inline with the initiatives
  • Collaborate with sales representatives for organizing familiarisation trips and small events on-site at the Village
  • Ensure all cooperation activity data is accurately captured in the Salesforce database
  • Compile reports where required
  • Provide leadership, collaborate and assist in the execution of the overall International markets strategy for the Village
  • Gather and distribute relevant tourism Market Intelligence and Updates especially on Tour Operators/Airlines/Airports/Cruises etc.
  • Report on key data/trends on travel bookings & travels trends to Ireland
  • Build, Expand & Strengthen Tourism Stakeholders Relationships specifically with Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, DMCs, Airports, Airlines, Cruises
  • Secure commercial opportunities and always on visibility with key operators
  • Work closely with our US agency & team
  • Create ad-hoc packages for DMC, Cruises etc.
  • Attend sales & trade missions (occasional international travels might be required) focus on the US market
  • Organize external events in cooperation with international operators
  • Work in alignment with the partnership team


About You

We are looking for an individual who can display the following experience and skills:
  • Degree education or similar qualifications is preferrable
  • Experience in the tourism/hospitality or travel industry, preferably in a similar role; international experience is advantageous
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the travel industry
  • Computer literate and high proficiency in Microsoft Office, particular in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM database is a preferrable
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing activities development
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with an eye for detail
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data to insights
  • Able to work well with all levels across the business
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to both work as a team and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Fluent in English and local Village language, any other European language would be beneficial
  • Established networks of key contacts within the tourism industry
