Ethical Trade Executive ( Türkiye and Eastern Europe)
Reports to: Ethical Trade Manager
Location: Istanbul, Turkey

As an Ethical Trade Executive (TEE) will have various responsibilities in their role, such as: training, conducting audits, managing, maintaining, and improving the ethical performance of Primark's supply chains and supply chain relationships in the TEE region, with reference to the Primark Code of Conduct for suppliers. You will also support the implementation of the Primark Sustainable Cotton Programme.

As an Ethical Trade Executive (TEE) will have various responsibilities in their role, such as: training, conducting audits, managing, maintaining, and improving the ethical performance of Primark's supply chains and supply chain relationships in the TEE region, with reference to the Primark Code of Conduct for suppliers. You will also support the implementation of the Primark Sustainable Cotton Programme.
What You'll Do:
- Management and oversight of the new factory approval process, including on-boarding, training, proactively remediating and scheduling.
- Conduct onsite audits, investigations, visits etc in alignment with the Primark approach, reporting the status of the factories robustly.
- Reviewing the audit and investigation reports, evaluating and rating sites according to Primark Code of Conduct by ensuring factories in a timely manner.
- Management and oversight of the new factory approval process, including on-boarding, training, proactively remediating and scheduling.
- Conducts onsite audits, investigations, visits etc in alignment with the Primark approach, reporting the status of the factories robustly.
- Lead implementation of Turkey-focused elements of Primark's "Sustainable Cotton Programme" (PSCP) which trains farmers in good practice and traces their cotton through the supply chain.
- Working closely with the Primark team in headquarters who manage the programme, the post-holder will oversee the external organisations implementing the programme.

- Experience in Corporate Responsibility and Ethical Trade.
- Factory audit and remediation process experience (minimum 5 years)
- Knowledge of the cotton and / or agricultural sector and ethical challenges arising within it.
- The ability to build excellent relationships with key stakeholders & across the business.
- Able to cope with the complexity of Primark's suppliers' factories and buying departments.
- Able to cope with the diversity of cultures across the Primark ET Field Team.
