Your Opportunity

You will play a fundamental role in the development of Sneakers collections of the brand. You will support the Shoes Product Development Manager to interpret and realize samples based on the indications of the Design office and in close collaboration with other departments and suppliers.

How will you contribute?
  • Collect and document indications from Design team relating to collections development
  • Work closely with suppliers to develop samples that respect the expected aesthetic, quality and budget standards
  • Verify the technical feasibility of the collections, anticipating possible critical points and, with the assistance of internal technicians, proposing possible solutions
  • Manage and coordinate orders for semi-finished, components, and finished product required for the development of the new collections
  • Work closely with Raw Materials R&D Department to identify the suitable materials and processes to develop the collections
  • Support the Costing Team in valuing items developed for collection budget control. Additionally, you will suggest alternative pricing solutions to enhance the industrial cost efficiency of the finished product
  • Facilitate the dissemination of information of the developed products during the technical review
  • Collaborate with the Quality Department to provide support in resolving issues that may arise during production


Required Skills:
  • You will be able to demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviours
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role with exposure to Designers and working on sneakers
  • Proven capacity to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and particularly MS Excel. Knowledge of programs like Stealth or Kubix
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Dynamic, with a problem-solving attitude and capacity to establish positive working relations with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers
  • Willing to travel in Italy and abroad where necessary
