We are looking for an ambitious and experienced sales manager to lead our corporate gifts and promotional sales program. Lingua Franca provides corporate customers with access to a wide range of meaningful, luxury gifting services, including tailored gift programming, custom branding, high-volume ordering, and white-glove year-end gift management. The Corporate Gifts Sales Manager is responsible for generating, growing, and managing a significant portion of revenue, and this position plays a critical part in achieving our client acquisition and revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have strong selling and negotiating skills and a creative approach to client outreach and B2B sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and grow the corporate and VIP gifting and promotional client base, finding partners that are excited to leverage our sustainably made, hand-stitched custom items as a part of their corporate gifting.
- Seek opportunities to develop ongoing year-round accounts, such as conferences, events, industry festivals, weddings, hotels, etc.
- Develop and execute a gifting and promotional sales strategy, achieve quarterly and annual sales and profit margin goals
- Track corporate sales month to month and generate sales reports
- Work cross-functionality with LF teams to support the channel needs and ensure corporate sales run smoothly
- Create and process orders and troubleshoot from order creation to delivery with help from production and fulfillment teams
- Be the touch point from start to finish, including negotiations, approvals, pricing, logistics, productions, and selling.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in Corporate Sales management or a similar field for a high-end/luxury goods company (ideally fashion)
- Experience in developing and executing personalized marketing strategies with a data-led approach.
- Proven track record of success in business development, lead prospecting, and cold-call outreach, ideally with a robust professional network to draw upon
- Solid writing skills, able to communicate clearly and in the brand voice when constructing and delivering thoughtful client pitches.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to navigate a fluid, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong work ethic and a high level of discretion, integrity, judgment, and responsiveness
- Positive and proactive energy, a sense of humor and the ability to work collaboratively and get the job done
- Natural ability to forge and sustain substantial, meaningful relationships with external stakeholders and fellow team members.
- Strong tech skills, including ERP (preferably Brightpearl) and inventory management platforms, MS Office Suite and GSuite
Compensation: $80,000-$120,000 DOE
