Press & Marketing Intern - Summer Semester

Dion Lee is a designer brand, based in New York City. The Dion Lee aesthetic is technical with an intelligent sensuality. Each collection marries innovative construction, with a consciousness of the form. Textiles are engineered to form sculptural embellishments. 

We are looking for a dynamic intern to join our New York showroom team who is eager to gain hands on experience in the luxury fashion industry. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in Press and Marketing, coupled with excellent organizational skills and a passion for learning in a high-energy environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Managing sample inventory, including coordination with PR agencies for inbound and outbound samples.
• Maintaining the showroom’s appearance and assisting with research for gifting initiatives.
• Conducting research for content creation.
• Supporting the daily organization of the studio, managing project workflows, and performing assistant-related duties.
• Monitoring and compiling press coverage across various platforms.
• Assisting with photoshoot preparation and on-set tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Must be a junior or senior in their degree program.
• Eligibility to receive school credit for the internship is required.
• Availability to commit to 2-3 days per week for a duration of 3 months.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• A deep understanding of current market trends, combined with high organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
