We are seeking a Senior Logistic Manager to join our Melbourne Support Office, reporting directly to the Regional Head of Finance. This role primarily involves overseeing all logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods, optimizing supply chains, managing inventory efficiently, and streamlining operations for improved performance. Strong organizational skills and a passion for logistics are crucial for success in this role, allowing you to lead seamless deliveries and make a substantial impact on our supply chain.
As a qualified candidate, you should demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Your tasks will include implementing efficient procedures, supervising warehouse personnel, and meeting productivity targets. Additionally, analysing metrics to enhance performance and effectively managing inventory are critical aspects of this role, contributing significantly to the success of our logistics operations.

What you can expect:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of logistics operations
- Plan and coordinate the movement of goods, ensuring efficient and timely delivery
- Optimize the supply chain process to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to streamline operations and improve delivery outcomes
- Analyse data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Your profile:
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in logistics management for retail or wholesale distribution and supply chain
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field
- Proficiency in using logistics software and systems (SAP desirable)
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates adept analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen focus on detail
