Maison Margiela is a Paris-based fashion house founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. Celebrating unconventional aesthetics and embracing the philosophy that fashion is an art of expression rather than a cult of personality, Maison Margiela offers haute couture, ready-to-wear for women and men, contemporary line MM6, footwear, interior design, and accessories, including leather goods, fine jewelry and fragrance.
John Galliano was named Creative Director of the house in 2014, bringing his sense of spectacle and creative mastery to the unique ethos of Maison Margiela. Whilst developing his own vision for the house, John Galliano has entirely respected the Martin Margiela state of mind, creating a fascinating organic process.
In 2002, the French house became part of OTB. Along with sister brands of the group, Maison Margiela continues pushing the boundaries of modern fashion while preserving its distinctive identity and heritage.
The primary responsibility of the Retail Excellence Specialist is to actively engage with the regional retail team, working closely alongside with them to lead the program aimed at aligning the retail excellence and client experience for Maison Margiela and MM6.
Retail Operation and Procedure:
- Meticulously elaborate on the Maison Margiela retail BOH & FOH guidelines and create corresponding guidelines for MM & MM6.
- Elaborate the OP list for our sales team (digital claim form, care kits, delighting kits, blouse)
- Supporting the packaging guidelines for Maison Margiela and MM6.
- Steering the creation and procedure of global uniform excellence for Maison Margiela and MM6.
- Coordinate with the CS & production team and negotiate the pricing.
- Coordinate with the region for the future store opening.
Client Experience Evaluation Program:
- Construct, build, and define the Client Experience Evaluation strategy.
- Post-analyse the result after the CEE program and define the action plan.
- Coordinate within the region for their needs and support the relevant training.
- Guiding the global prospect CX strategy and in-store excellence.
Training Program:
- Assisting the Creation of the Collection Training Mood & Inspiration for Maison Margiela and MM6 in support of the global training manager and the regional training team.
- Support on providing selling technic material and coordinating with the regions for their needs.
- Support the creation of Micro-learning among the 360-plan strategy in cooperation with the Retail Excellence department and Global training manager.
- Coordinate with the production team to create the craftmanship program.
- Meticulously participate in the elaboration of the BE MAGIELA Selling Ceremony and create the new selling ceremony for MM6
Digital Learning:
- Animate the Retail sales team WW via the digital learning platform Yoobic.
- Propose the digital training materials for the sales team.
- Implement the digital learning path for the WW sales team.
- Coordinate with the region and support the region for digital training on the learning platform.
- Follow up and analyze the training results and guide the region for the improvement needs.
- Reinforce the digital learning path for the WW sales team (materials, selling ceremony...etc)
We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in luxury sectors/ Fashion background
Open-mind and multitasking management
Profound comprehension of international business intricacies, aesthetic and coupled with a nuanced understanding of diverse business & luxury cultures with elevated insight and acumen
English mandatory. Chinese or Japanese is a plus
