In House Photographer & Videographer

Our Milan-based lifestyle brand is seeking a passionate In House Photographer & Videographer

to join its rapidly growing team. Experienced in fashion and lifestyle photography and video, you

will skillfully capture moments to tell captivating stories, always with an eye to editorialise our

commercial incentives utilising our uniquely joyful brand voice. As part of a highly visual - and

visible - brand, this is an incredible opportunity for a young creative go-getter to play a pivotal

role in translating the mission and message of a luxury brand to a global audience. Not only will

you get to leverage your creative eye and technical excellence to help convey powerful brand

narratives, but you will have the chance to work alongside and learn from some of the most skilled

(quite frankly fabulous) creatives in the luxury design world.

We are looking for a high-energy individual with a background in photography and video, ideally

as a professional at a fashion or design. Technical excellence is a must, as is the ability to meet

qualitative and quantitative goals, and deliver results that align with project requirements and

deadlines.

This full-time role is based in Milan.

What you'll do:

SYNOPSIS: Work in lockstep with the Art Director and Executive Editor to produce exceptional

quality photography and video content for distribution across all brand platforms and some

external outlets.

 

In detail…

• Produce photographic and video assets for ad-hoc commercial and editorial brand

campaigns based on the needs of the Art Director, E-Commerce and Merchandising Teams

• Capture behind the scenes imagery and video footage of all collection campaign shoots,

presentations, and brand events and activations

• Collaborate with our styling team to create content in alignment with the latest trends.

• Edit and deliver final selects and video footage in a timely manner

 

• Produce and edit key videos for paid advertising campaigns

• Contribute the consistent and cohesive communication of the brand’s visual identity

across social feed grid

• Participate in brainstorming out-of-the-box visual concepts according to campaign briefs

• Work with Social Media Manager to develop strategic content to achieve short and long

term targets as defined with the marketing department

• Collaborate in brainstorming new ways to improve the traffic by tapping into new

platforms and channels

 

What we're looking for:

• Photography degree or similar

• Eye-catching portfolio

• Studio photography skills

• Retouching skills

• Awareness of current visual trends in design and fashion

• Experience in stop-motion editing is a plus

• Clear track record of top-calibre delivery in all projects

• Strong knowledge and use of Photoshop, Capture One, Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere

Pro or Final Cut Pro

 

SOFT SKILLS

• Good interpersonal communication skills, concise, direct, energetic, and responsive.

• Must possess a proactive, problem-solving mindset to facilitate a cross-functional team

environment, always thinking one step ahead, with the ability to work in a fast-paced

environment across time zones.

• Ability to deliver projects under tight deadlines

• Proficiency in both English and Italian

• Strong brand ambassador with the capacity to stay composed (and even thrive) under

pressure

• Hands on, go-getter, team player

• A background within a vision-driven, fashion or design brand, studio or agency is a

significant plus; a background in visual communications is a plus
