Graphic Design Intern - Summer Semester

Dion Lee is a designer brand, based in New York City. The Dion Lee aesthetic is technical with an intelligent sensuality. Each collection marries innovative construction, with a consciousness of the form. Textiles are engineered to form sculptural embellishments. 

We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to work closely with our Brand & Marketing team to create compelling graphics and visual content that aligns with our brand identity. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual who is looking to gain hands-on experience in graphic design and visual communication in a dynamic industry setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the creation and design of digital assets, including social media graphics, website banners, lookbooks, and email marketing templates.
• Support the design team in developing branding materials, such as logos, business cards, and promotional materials.
• Conducting research for content creation.
• Help maintain and organize digital asset libraries.
• Work on special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently enrolled in a graphic design or related program.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design skills and creative thinking.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
