Triple Wimbledon champion Fred Perry founded his brand in 1952. He was the son of a cotton spinner, who played and fought his way through, always with style – and despite the establishment. Today, Fred Perry is a global community of over 370 employees, all inspired by the Laurel Wreath and what it represents

PURPOSE:

As part of the global brand team, the role of Brand Development Coordinator will be to ensure that the Brand Strategy is implemented by our global partners to a high standard.

Working closely with the brand development Lead, you will be involved in developing wholesale and distributor marketing content, alongside coordinating the global communications calendar.

You will be a confident communicator and be able to build working relationships well. Your attention to detail will be second to none, and it will help to ensure flawless execution of global and regional social activities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collection Communication

 

• Responsible for the delivery of all relevant marketing materials to retail partners.

• Ensure all accounts follow brand guidelines in regard to logo usage/fonts/campaign banners.

• Brief any artwork requests into graphics team in timely manner

 

Strategic Marketing Activations

• Responsible for coordinating marketing activity with key industry leading retailers, distributors, and Fred Perry retail stores.

 

• attend meetings with relevant wholesalers and markets and/or buyer contacts.

• Work with brand development lead to allocate annual budget across these activations.

• Travel to visit key strategic partners.

• Input any confirmed activity into weekly brand department meetings.

 

 

Budget Tracker/ Invoice Management/ Recharging

 

• Tracking of invoices, provision of accruals to Brand Development Lead as requested and input of all signed off and coded invoices.

 

Exhibition

• Attend each quarterly exhibition to ensure full knowledge of all key stories.

 

THE PERSON:

• Strong oral and written communicator.

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

• Tenacious personality with good people skills.

• Ability to develop and implement creative ideas.

• Proven reporting, analysis and monitoring skills.

• Easily adaptable, with a degree of professional flexibility.

• Excellent IT Skills: skilled Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

 

HOURS:

We actively encourage our teams to have a good work/life balance and so we are pleased to offer flexible working shifts at Fred Perry HQ. Our core shift hours are from 10am – 4.30pm and so employees can choose to start and finish early, or start and finish late. (i.e. work 8:00am-4:30pm, or 10:00am-6:30pm etc). We also have 30-minute early finish on Fridays.

As we continue to work in a more flexible way, the Head Office acts a brand hub, where we can all connect and collaborate with one another. This role is a mix of office based (London) and remote working. We will expect the employee to come into the office regularly for face-to-face meetings and to work alongside their team on collaborative projects.
