We are looking for a Senior Designer (m/f/d) to join our BOSS Menswear Camel team as soon as possible.
What you can expect:
- Execute thematic and qualitative interpretation of seasonal trends for main product groups (MPGs) including Suits, Blazers, Trousers, and Coats, ensuring alignment with Concept Design briefings and embodying luxury BOSS DNA in each garment.
- Conduct trend research and innovation exploration, while performing benchmark analyses of competitors in the high-end luxury tailoring menswear environment.
- Collaborate with the Head of Design & Concept in designing, sketching (using AI and Clo3D), and developing styles for product groups.
- Collaborate closely with R&D for fabric research and fabric concept creation.
- Assist in implementing the collection framework (range plan) in coordination with Product Management.
- Lead fittings and collaborate closely with the Pattern & Technical Development team.
- Prepare, manage, and present meetings, actively participating in discussions.
- Oversee the conceptual design aspect of the made-to-measure program.
- Maintain SAP (PLM) data and working close with team members on BOM creation.
- Engage in proactive strategic thinking regarding processes, workflows, design, and the overall direction of the Camel collection.
- Ensure implementation of the company's strategic guidelines.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar position within a luxury or international environment.
- In-depth experience in the tailoring industry with proficient technical understanding of fits, development processes, trims, and extensive market knowledge.
- Broad understanding of tailoring manufacturing processes, including full canvas constructions.
- Deep knowledge of Italian tailoring mills and luxury fabrics, including their delicate contents and usage.
- A keen sense of luxury sartorial fashion, trends, and understanding of the end consumer environment.
- Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills with a team-oriented approach.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail and creativity.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Conceptual and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent organizational talent and assertiveness.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, open-mindedness, and a team player mentality.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting in collection development.
- Very good to fluent knowledge of English.
- Excellent proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and Miro, with good knowledge of MS Office, SAP/PLM and Clo3D.
